Indian Astronomers Around the World (IAAW) is a community-driven initiative connecting Indian astronomers working across the globe — including faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and early-career scientists.
The initiative aims to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and mentorship within the Indian astronomy and astrophysics community worldwide.
What We Do
We organize and support a range of academic activities, including:
- Online colloquia by Indian astronomers working at institutions around the world
- Hands-on workshops and lecture series on research methods, instrumentation, and data analysis
- Discussion forums to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices
- Community building to encourage collaborations across institutions and countries
All activities are designed to be inclusive, accessible, and academically rigorous.
Recent & Upcoming Events
We regularly host online talks and workshops.
